Koh Si Chang, a sea destination near Bangkok.

If you have plans to visit the sea this summer but don't want to travel too far from Bangkok, I recommend trying “Koh Si Chang-Chonburi”. It's worth it! Getting there for those with a car can park at the Koh Loy Pier. For those traveling from Bangkok like us, you can take the train from Hua Lamphong Station and then take a songthaew to Koh Loy Pier. But just a whisper, there's only one train per day, which is at 6:40 AM only. For the return trip, take the boat back from the island, catch a songthaew to the same station as on the way there, and take the train back to Bangkok. The return train also has only one round, which is at 3:00 PM. Koh Si Chang is a small island that brings great joy. The people are very kind, the accommodations are cheap. We paid 1,000 for a room for two people for one night, including a motorcycle with a full tank of gas to tour around the island. It's super worth it. Moreover, the seafood is cheap and very fresh. I recommend the restaurant “Pa Noy Rim Thang Talay Pao”, fresh cockles eaten with a killer seafood sauce. We went there at the end of last year and I must say there were fewer people than I thought. I guarantee that anyone who wants to visit for a peaceful time, not focusing on partying but on truly relaxing with natural views, will not be disappointed at Koh Si Chang.
