Magical Spring Visit to Yuantong Mountain

#springwander Spring called, and I answered with a trip to Yuantong Mountain in Kunming. The moment I stepped out of Metro Line 5's Yuantongshan Station Exit B and walked for 5 minutes, I was in a cherry - blossom wonderland. The blossoms, in full bloom from mid - February to late - March, were a sight to behold. I hit the top spots. At the Cherry Blossom Tunnel, hidden near the main entrance's right - hand path, I posed like a Japanese drama star in my light - colored dress and woven bag. At the Ancient Temple, I squatted by the red wall in rented Hanfu, holding cherry branches, with cute cats and squirrels around. When night came, the Night Sakura Mirage was pure magic. Using my phone's wide - angle and shooting low at light spots after 19:00 (21:00 on weekends), I got some amazing shots. Interacting with the chickens and peacocks was a blast.I think it’s approachable palace to se the cherry blossoms.
