Grand Hôtel Henri: French Chic in Southern France

Grand Hôtel Henri left a lasting impression on us during our trip to Provence in southern France. Located in the charming town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, it's easily accessible from Paris by taking the TGV train to Avignon and then transferring to a local TER train to reach this quaint destination. Though the town is small, staying for a night or two offers a relaxing experience. We recommend visiting on a Sunday to enjoy the largest antique market in France. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the town. Its intimate size ensures personalized and attentive service from the staff. Outside, there's free parking, and as you walk in, you'll pass through a garden featuring a small fountain and cozy seating areas—perfect for unwinding. Inside, the central staircase hall exudes the charm of an old French building, complete with elegant carpets. The guest rooms are even more delightful, decorated in a French chic style with vintage floral patterns. The rooms feature soft, inviting beds, an orange sofa, a work desk, and a bathroom adorned with classic black-and-white tiles.
