Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Woramahawihan in Lamphun Province has an important annual festival called the “Hundred Thousand Lanterns Festival” or what we like to call the “Lantern Hanging Festival”. Inside the temple, there are many beautiful colored lanterns. We can also buy lanterns in the color we like and write our wishes on them. Hang the lanterns we wrote our wishes on.
