Streetlife - Citywalk trough Lanzhou

Lanzhou is a big city of about three million people. It is located next to the Westend of the Yellow River and was a major stop on the Silk Road, where it was known as the Golden City. From the 5th to the 11th century the city was even a major seat of Buddhist learning and had a interesting history. Today it's provincial capital of Gansu and I really enjoy streetwalks trough the city. The city is quite diverse and somehow "packed", as the city can't really grow to the sides (mountains).
