| A cultural ancient city at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. This is my second time in Lijiang, and I'm still amazed by it. This ancient city is steeped in thousands of years of history and culture. The cobblestone streets are winding and twisting, and the wooden buildings on both sides are full of ancient charm, with carved beams and painted rafters, full of ethnic characteristics. Strolling through the ancient city, listening to the sound of gurgling water, you can feel the tranquility and leisure. I don't like to follow guides to must-see places, I like to wander around, and there are many small museums hidden in the ancient city. You can see the Naxi Tusi's mansion, known as "the Forbidden City in the north, the Mu Mansion in the south," and learn about the history and culture of the Mu Tusi. You may come across the Dayan Naxi Ancient Music Concert, where you can listen to the old gentlemen playing ancient music from the Tang, Song, and Yuan dynasties with old instruments, and feel the prosperity of the past. You may also come across the Dongba Culture Experience Hall, where you can learn about the making of Dongba paper and the meaning of the strange, cute, and colorful Dongba characters. You can always look up and meet the black and white peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. No matter how you want to play in the ancient city, you will find a way that suits you.
