Jinxiu Valley of Lushan

From the Heavenly Bridge of Lushan, follow the stone steps on the left to the Immortal's Cave, a beautiful valley about 1.5 kilometers long. This is the famous scenic spot of Lushan - Jinxiu Valley. It is said to be the place where Huiyuan, a famous monk from the Eastern Jin Dynasty, picked flowers and herbs. The flowers here bloom all year round, like brocade, hence the name. The Northern Song Dynasty litterateur Wang Anshi wrote in his poem: 'Return home with a smile, it's a fragrant morning, it's good to be the host with the famous mountain. I happened to invite Jinxiu Valley in the spring when I was enjoying the Five Lakes.' It is said to be his impromptu work. Walking along the stone steps built along the cliffs of Jinxiu Valley, it can be described as 'The road winds up the top of the pine, piercing the clouds and breaking the fog. The wind blows the clothes, and it's light and misty.' There are thousands of rocks competing for beauty in the valley, and ten thousand ravines winding back; the cliffs are natural, the stone forests are upright, the steep cliffs and peaks roar like a lion, like a tiger leaping across the stream, like a swift monkey climbing, like an immortal sitting cross-legged, lifelike. The scenery along the way is like a brocade scroll, intoxicating. Especially the giant face of Jinxiu Valley, it really looks like it.
