Macao Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall

💟The Macao Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall is located next to the Macao Museum of Art at the Cultural Center on Avenida Xian Xinghai in New Port. The site of the museum was originally the venue for the handover ceremony of Macau's sovereignty between the Chinese and Portuguese governments on December 20, 1999. After the venue was demolished, it became part of the Macau Cultural Center Square. Since March 2003, the construction of the Macao Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall started at the original location. It was completed in October 2004 and officially opened in December of the same year. 💟The Macao Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall is three stories high. The ground floor is the entrance lobby and administrative department of the exhibition hall. The first floor is the Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall and the Special Exhibition Hall. The second floor is the lecture hall. 💟The Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall mainly displays the handover gifts presented to Macau by the State Council of China, provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, autonomous regions and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
