Polly MGM Museum

Located on the second floor of MGM Macau, the Polly MGM Museum is a joint venture between Poly Culture Group and MGM. It is the first international-standard museum built within a hotel, covering an area of nearly 2,000 square meters. The museum officially opened on November 2, 2024. Built to national first-class relic exhibition standards, the museum can accommodate artifacts from around the world. The exhibition hall pillars showcase cloisonné enamel craftsmanship and the ingenuity of Chinese Dougong brackets, incorporating cultural and artistic elements from countries along the "Belt and Road." Through a coffered ceiling track structure, movable LED screens, and mobile exhibition panels, the museum achieves a presentation that blends "East and West, ancient and modern, virtual and real, culture and technology." In November 2024, the museum's inaugural exhibition, "Blue Ribbon - Exploring the Mysteries of the Sea and Discovering Silk Road Treasures," focused on the "Maritime Silk Road." Using marine archaeology as a guide, the exhibition led visitors on a journey to explore the past, present, and future of this maritime route. The "Blue Ribbon" exhibition was guided by the China Cultural Relics Exchange Center and Poly Group, and curated by a team of experts from China, Italy, and France. It featured 184 groups of 228 cultural relics and artworks, including unearthed relics related to the Maritime Silk Road, silks, spices, and various rare treasures. The opening ceremony of the Polly MGM Museum was held in Macao on November 15.
