Experience the best at Pestana Plaza Madrid

Just got back from Madrid, staying at the amazing Pestana Plaza Mayor Madrid, Calle Imperial 8. The hotel is very close to Puerta del Sol, just a 600-meter walk away, and transportation is also very convenient. It is also very convenient as it only takes a short walk to Mercado San Miguel market. The location of this hotel is really good, close to important attractions and shopping areas. The exterior is a modern remodeled design, which is very stylish. Facilities offered at the hotel include a seasonal outdoor pool, a fitness centre and a 24-hour front desk. There is also a very cozy terrace and bar to relax with a drink. What surprised me most was that they have a spa, which is great for relaxing after a busy day! The receptionist at the check-in desk was very friendly, and we were quickly taken care of, and they went above and beyond to help us arrange everything we needed. The room was nice and well laid out with a large bed, air conditioning and wardrobe. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with a work desk and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom has a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer, which is clean and comfortable. Our room window faced the Plaza Mayor and the view was stunning. It feels very relaxing to have breakfast by the window every morning and watch the hustle and bustle of the square. The bed in the room was very comfortable and I had a very good sleep. If you have any questions, just call the front desk and they will solve them quickly, which is very considerate. Opposite the hotel is Plaza Mayor and within walking distance of Gran Via, where you can not only shop but also enjoy the beautiful scenery. Madrid is a foodie capital and there are many good restaurants nearby, such as Brunchit - Las Letras and Los Montes de Galicia. We also tried Zenith Brunch & Cocktails - Desengaño and the cocktails and brunch there were really amazing. The only drawback is that there are relatively few lounge chairs at the rooftop swimming pool, so you have to get up early to grab one. The water temperature is also a bit cold, but considering that the summer in Madrid is very hot, the experience of the cooling pool is still good. However the boutique feel of this hotel and the friendly service make up for these minor issues. In short, whether you want to relax or travel on business, Pestana Plaza Hotel is an excellent choice. I will continue to stay here next time I go to Madrid, I really like it! 💖✨
