Molise

Molise, a region abundant with nature, history, art, ancient traditions, delicious food, and many more treasures yet to be discovered. Its history is deeply intertwined with the Samnites, the Romans, and the influence of the Swabian rule. The mountainous and hilly terrain has preserved some of the rural and mountain traditions that have remained unchanged for centuries. Worth visiting are two small towns that still carry on valuable artisanal activities: Agnone, known for making bells for some of the world's most important churches, and Scapoli, famous for its bagpipes, which houses a museum dedicated to this ancient instrument.
