A Serendipitous Encounter with Inokashira Park in Tokyo

On my way to the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo, I had some extra time and decided to stop by Inokashira Park without much thought, as it was along the route. Although it wasn’t part of my original plan, the visit turned out to be so delightful that I now want to return intentionally! Despite being located in the heart of Tokyo, the park is quiet and serene, offering a stark contrast to the bustling tourist spots elsewhere in the city. Sunlight filters through the trees, and the lake scenery is truly picturesque—like a painting. Just sitting on a bench and relaxing here provides a perfect sense of healing. I also enjoyed watching locals taking leisurely strolls and couples rowing boats on the lake—it was peaceful and heartwarming. In the midst of a busy trip, this park felt like a place where you could take a moment to breathe. Encountering such natural beauty in Tokyo made the experience feel even more special.
