Kagoshima Prefecture Nagasakihana Ryugu Shrine

This shrine is dedicated to Toyotamahime (Otohime), and is located at Nagasakihana, the birthplace of the Dragon Palace legend. It is cherished as the guardian deity of the sea and the deity of matchmaking where Urashima Taro and Otohime met. Nagasakihana is the southernmost cape of the Satsuma Peninsula.
