The homestay village consists of 26 buildings, arranged in a picturesque layout facing the bamboo forest of Wuxiang Mountain. The entire village features a retro, weathered aesthetic, with roofs preserving the original village style—patches of red tiles layered over blue-gray ones, exuding nostalgia. Surrounded by stunning mountain and water scenery, the homestay also has little chickens, goats, and a rice-field infinity pool, embodying rustic charm. Every detail of the retreat feels rustic and wild yet brimming with vitality. Earthen brick walls are draped with climbing plants like ivy, trumpet vines, and wisteria. Each room has a small wooden threshold at the entrance, with wardrobe curtains and mortise-and-tenon solid wood furniture—unassuming yet winning in subtle craftsmanship. Huaji’s restaurant is a standout feature, designed in a unique courtyard style. Stepping inside, you’re greeted by an ancient ambiance. The long table displays the owner’s treasured collections, while the walls are adorned with paintings by artist Zhu Yingchun.
