Jones Beach

#newyorktrip A great state park beach to the east of New York City with plenty of fine white sand bordering the open Atlantic Ocean. This beach is very popular with the masses and certain sections can get crowded on certain days, but, as there's plenty of beach to go around, you can usually find a relatively quiet spot if you know where to look. There is a place for barbecue. There is an amazing air show every Memorial Day weekend
