Deng Xiaoping's famous quote for the Ningbo Bang, "Mobilize the Ningbo Bang all over the world to build Ningbo," has now become the unique urban spirit upheld by the museum and even the city. 🌟Highlights: In 2020, the Ningbo Bang Museum merged with the Ningbo Museum to become an independent venue under the same unit. Its independent exhibition hall mainly operates the basic display of the Ningbo Bang, including two parts: the historical comprehensive exhibition area and the achievement special exhibition area, the preface hall, the hard work, the achievements, the patriotic feelings, the stars, and the inheritance of the fire. There are 6 chapters in total, occupying two floors. The Rolls-Royce donated by the Ningbo Bang during Deng Xiaoping's visit to the United States is also quietly parked on the second floor. In addition, there are two special exhibition halls, "Honorary Citizens of Ningbo" and "Ningbo Businessmen in Progress," which show the relationship between Ningbo people and the city of Ningbo from different perspectives, and display the group of people with "the story of a group of people and a city." Among them, the only former residence of celebrities directly managed by the Ningbo Bang Museum is the former residence of Bao Yugang, which is not far from the Ningbo Bang Museum. 🌟Highlights: The former residence of Bao Yugang is a traditional Jiangnan-style residence, built by Bao Yugang's ancestor Bao Kuizhi during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Bao Yugang was born and grew up here. At present, there are four exhibition halls in the former residence, "Bao's Lineage," "The Road of the Ship King," "Virtue and Inheritance," and "Collection of Light and Shadow." The protection and utilization status is good, but due to the remote location, there are very few tourists.
