However, the hotel's catering is a bit unsatisfactory, at least the breakfast and executive lounge are not satisfactory. The restaurant space is spacious, but the breakfast experience is not good. The baking area has a rich display and a strong New Year atmosphere, but if you go further inside, the stalls are slightly inferior. The hot dish area is full of vegetarian stir-fries, without any side dishes. The seafood noodles are simply added with fish balls and shrimps, and the bowls in the noodle stall are large and heavy. The exterior of the hotel is seamlessly connected to Tianming Lake. Although we failed to appreciate the beautiful lake view due to the winter rain, the surrounding scenery is still beautiful. Although the children's play area is outdoors and relatively simple, the children still have a great time. The simple happiness is fully reflected at this moment. The suites and executive lake-view twin rooms were all sold out, so we had to choose a lake-view twin room. Although the room was in the east area 5061, there was a musty smell of smoke when we first entered the door, but the guest center quickly sent an air purifier. The lake-view room is spacious and fully equipped, with a smart toilet and a Dyson-like hair dryer with strong wind power, which is great to use. Although the welcome fruit is quite satisfactory, it is still a kind gesture. The executive lounge is located on the 8th floor. Afternoon tea is served from 14:30 - 16:30. The small cakes are exquisite and delicious, and the chocolate cake is particularly outstanding. HH time is 17:30 - 19:30. The hot dishes include braised pork and roast duck, as well as steamed egg custard and red bean soup. Although the variety is not large, the portions are sufficient and replenished in time. This time, the children swam in the super-large indoor heated swimming pool, while I experienced the elliptical machine in the gym. Although the gym is not large and the number of equipment is limited, it can still meet basic exercise needs. The changing room is equipped with a Dyson hair dryer and a spin dryer, which is a big plus. The only drawback is that bottled water is not provided, and only a water dispenser can be found. In addition, the elevator in the east area leading to the gym is not lit, and the light is dim, which is not very convenient. Surprisingly, the back of the hotel leads to Tianming Lake Park. We went out for a walk in the drizzle and happened to encounter the fountain light show held to welcome the marathon. It started on time at 19:00, with a grand scale and fire-breathing performances, accompanied by the exciting Ekaterina background music, which was wonderful. When the marathon started the next day, the view of the fountain from the east area room was excellent. The breakfast on the first floor of the hotel also brought many surprises, with freshly wrapped sea urchin wontons and seafood, as well as freshly wrapped glutinous rice, Haining-style pot spatula mochi, and matcha cheese bread, which were also very delicious. Overall, Ninghai Sheraton Hotel is a very suitable hotel for staycations. Whether it is the excellent geographical location, comfortable rooms, or rich surrounding attractions, it is impressive.
