Found serendipitously after a thrilling go-kart session, this unique spot isn't even marked on Google Maps, adding to its allure. Initially unsure about entering, as only one of us was a coffee drinker, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Bar Fine was more than just a coffee shop. Run by a gracious lady, she continues her father's legacy of crafting distilled alcohol from the fruits and herbs in her garden, with the menu changing seasonally. A standout creation was the herbal "cola" made from a syrup infused with cinnamon and other herbs. Paired with soda, this bittersweet concoction had a refreshing twist reminiscent of ice cream soda. Curiosity led us to explore their wine offerings, and we opted for a wine tasting set priced at 150 baht. Crafted through a meticulous process of fermenting fruits for three months followed by a 24-hour distillation, the owner served us: Lime Wine - 6/10: Not a favorite due to its strong aftertaste. Banana Wine - 8/10: Surprisingly delightful, with a robust banana flavor. Dragon Fruit Wine - 10/10: A standout winner, sweet and refreshing, masking the alcohol taste entirely. The owner thoughtfully served a complimentary Chrysanthemum tea to cleanse our palate and homemade banana chips to complement our drinks. The chips were crispy and well-seasoned. Despite sampling four drinks, we remained sober and ready to continue exploring the area on foot. The overall ambiance was a highlight, making it an ideal pit stop to escape the afternoon sun.
