Shirakawago, a breathtaking village in Gifu 🏘️

Shirakawago is a traditional village located in Gifu prefecture, Japan. I visited during Christmas time in December 2022 and it turned out one of the best experiences! The whole village is covered with snow and it’s soooo beautiful! ❄️☃️ the area is not too big so you can walk around easily and moreover, if you have time you can walk up the hill to see the village from above as well.
