A vibrant city with delicious food and overflowing charm! Hello everyone! Today, Boom is taking you on a trip to Japan, to a city known as the "Kitchen of Japan" and a must-visit destination for food lovers and fun seekers—Osaka! Osaka is a city full of vibrant colors, mouthwatering cuisine, and warm, charming culture. Let’s dive right in! ⸻ Day 1: Straight to Dotonbori after landing After landing at Kansai Airport, Boom quickly sorted out the luggage and hopped on a train to the heart of Osaka. Japanese trains are super convenient and fast, making travel easy. From the station, it’s just a short walk to Dotonbori, a bustling area that’s the epicenter of fun and delicious food. As soon as you step in, the aroma of food fills the air. Restaurants and snack shops line both sides of the street, illuminated by bright neon lights. The famous Glico sign is a must-see spot for photos—don’t miss it! Boom started with takoyaki, the iconic octopus-filled balls that are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with sweet sauce, mayonnaise, and seaweed. They were so good that Boom had to go back for seconds (and thirds!). Next up was okonomiyaki, a Japanese savory pancake mixed with vegetables, shrimp, and pork, topped with a special sauce. The rich flavor was absolutely delightful and worth sharing with everyone. ⸻ Day 2: Exploring Kuromon Market and shopping at Shinsaibashi The next day began at Kuromon Market, a lively fresh market offering seafood, fruits, vegetables, and plenty of street food. Walking past a sushi shop with freshly made sushi, the friendly owner welcomed Boom in. The salmon melted in the mouth, the sweet shrimp was bouncy, and it was so good that Boom couldn’t put the chopsticks down. Boom also tried grilled scallops with sweet sauce and giant crab with sweet, tender meat, making it feel like tasting the ocean itself. After filling up, Boom headed to Shinsaibashi, a popular shopping district with famous brand stores and adorable souvenirs. While shopping, Boom stopped by a cozy café serving Japanese matcha tea with traditional sweets. It felt like enjoying tea with friends in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. ⸻ Day 3: Universal Studios Japan for endless fun For theme park lovers, Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is a must-visit. It’s a dream destination for movie and cartoon fans. Boom started at the Harry Potter zone, which felt like stepping into a magical world. Everything was incredibly realistic, and the butterbeer was sweet and frothy, making it hard to leave this enchanting area. There’s also the Mario Kart zone, where you can race with your favorite characters and take photos with the adorable Mario. Even the food at the theme park was amazing. Boom tried various flavors of popcorn with cute Minion designs that were absolutely delightful. ⸻ Day 4: Osaka Castle and a charming cat café Today, Boom visited Osaka Castle, a landmark rich in history and stunning architecture. Walking around the castle’s garden filled with trees and flowers, the peaceful atmosphere felt like stepping back into the samurai era. From the top of the castle, the panoramic view of the city was breathtaking. Next, Boom relaxed in Nakazakicho, an artsy district filled with charming coffee shops and cafés. Boom spent time at a cat café, playing with fluffy cats while sipping Japanese matcha tea. It was so relaxing, it felt like being at home. ⸻ Day 5: Tenjinbashi Market, souvenir shopping, and riverside relaxation On the last day, Boom visited Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai, Japan’s longest shopping street, filled with food, goods, and adorable souvenirs. Boom tried crispy fried snacks, refreshing green tea, and bought cute souvenirs to take home. The warm and friendly atmosphere made Boom feel closer to the locals. Before heading to the airport, Boom enjoyed coffee by the Osaka River, admiring the beautiful bridges and reflecting on the happy memories Osaka had given. ⸻ Final Thoughts Osaka is truly a city for everyone, whether traveling solo, as a couple, or in a group.
