|Check in at a National Third-Class Museum. Pucheng Museum is a comprehensive museum in China. It was established on November 28, 1986, with the approval of the Pucheng County Compilation Committee. On June 23, 1990, it was officially opened to the public as a combination of two ancient buildings, the Pucheng Confucian Temple, a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province, and the Chongshou Temple Pagoda, a national key cultural relic protection unit, in the center of the county. In May 2013, it was rated as a "National Third-Class Museum" by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. The collection includes 25 categories of prehistoric fossils, Paleolithic and Neolithic stone tools, bone tools, and bronzes, pottery, gold and silverware, ironware, porcelain, lacquerware, coins, stone carvings, statues, calligraphy, and paintings from various historical periods. The collection is mainly composed of Han and Tang cultural relics, especially pottery figurines, stone carvings, and calligraphy and paintings, including the Epitaph of Su Xiaoci of the Sui Dynasty, the Shinto Stele of Gao Lishi of the Tang Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty Pastel Horse, the Tang Dynasty Pastel Camel Rider Figurine, the Qing Dynasty Wooden Plaque of Lin Zexu's Calligraphy, and the Qing Dynasty Landscape Painting Scroll by Yuan Yao.
