Ameiqituo Town is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction located in Qinglong County, Qianxinan Prefecture. Ameiqitou Characteristic Town is a poverty alleviation resettlement demonstration site in Qinglong County that integrates relocation and scenic spots. It covers a total area of ​​1,450 acres. It is a representative of Qinglong’s ethnic minority gathering place and the only characteristic scenic spot in the province and even the country where an entire township was relocated. The scenic area combines the ethnic cultures of the Yi and Miao ethnic groups, applies the totems of ox and tiger heads that they believe in to the architectural layout, and outlines them through lighting, integrating the ethnic cultures of the Yi, Miao, Buyi and other ethnic minorities with unique characteristics into a scenic spot with strong ethnic flavor. Grand celebrations are held on traditional festivals such as the Buyi people's "March 3rd", the Yi people's "Torch Festival" and the Miao people's "August 8th". In addition to the grand bonfire party, there are also exciting activities such as the long table banquet with strong ethnic customs, the "Moon Lake Love" water show, the Ameiqituo Scenic Area ethnic minority costume tour, etc. Walking into the Ameiqitou Scenic Area, the stepped architectural layout fully demonstrates the unique characteristics of mountain architecture and truly embodies the design concept of following the terrain and following the laws of nature. The planning incorporates elements of ethnic culture, cleverly applying "ox heads" and "tiger heads" to the architectural layout, adding a sense of mystery to the local ethnic minority culture. The architectural style adopts traditional Chinese architectural style, with colorful curved sloping roofs and courtyard-style buildings, showing a vast space. The unique ethnic style, carved railings and flower windows, antique houses and beautiful urban environment show vitality and vigor everywhere. "Moving out the culture and retaining the nostalgia" is the portrayal of life in the small town. In a small town, you may hear voices like this: "Ameiqituole...Ameiqituole..." When you are immersed in the world alone, waves of moving songs will lead you to quickly follow the sound, and when you come to Kinmen Square, a group of young Yi men and women in ethnic costumes are practicing "Ameiqituo". Ameiqituo is a Yi dance that originated from Sanbao Yi Township, Qinglong, and means "girl's wedding dance". It is the crystallization of the wisdom of the Sanbao Yi people. The dance is known as the "Oriental Tap Dance" and is famous all over the world for its shocking artistic charm and its special form of expressing emotions through feet. The uniform dance steps often attract tourists who come here to travel. People marvel at it, exclaim in admiration from time to time, or rush to take photos to commemorate the moment.
