2023 Second Hiking Trip~

Pohorje is the most famous hiking destination around Maribor. It is about 1 kilometer above sea level, perfect for summer hiking and winter skiing. Not too high or too low, there are also trams, cafes, restaurants, resorts, and more. As a leisure destination to escape the city, it is simply perfect. Originally planned to drive to the mountaintop, but halfway there, got stopped by a police car on the road because the mountaintop was already full on the weekend and there were no parking spaces. Had to drive back down the mountain. When preparing to take the cable car, there was a long line in front, so I decided to hike to the mountaintop instead. The sudden change of plans made me extremely unhappy. Step by step, I walked on the snow, as if setting off for the mountaintop. By the time I reached halfway up the mountain, my clothes were soaked through, but luckily there was a cafe here. I stayed in the coffee shop until my clothes were dry, and then continued on... About one and a half hours, I decided to enjoy the scenery along the way. Here you can see the whole city, covered in mist and snow, looking magical and lovely. The joy of winter arises spontaneously. There is no bad mood or dissatisfaction with the temporary change of itinerary. Everything is submerged in this beautiful winter scenery.
