Walk up the stairs to worship at Phu Sing, Kalasin Province.

Wat Phutthawat or Wat Phusing is another very beautiful tourist attraction located on the top of Phu Sing Mountain, 346 meters above sea level. On top is the Phra Phrom Bhumipalo, a white Buddha statue, the largest seated Buddha image in the Northeast. There are two ways to get to Wat Phutthawat: by driving up or by walking up. To get there, you have to climb the stairs with white Naga heads on both sides of the entrance, with a total of 654 steps. It’s quite tiring. Every day of the end of Buddhist Lent, there is a Tak Bat Thevo ceremony, where more than 400 monks walk down from Phu Sing Mountain to this staircase to receive alms at the foot of the mountain.
