Omiya Park, Saitama

#cherryblossom25 Omiya Park blew me away with its mix of urban accessibility and natural charm. It’s right near Omiya Station, but once you’re in the park, the city melts away and you’re surrounded by over a thousand cherry trees. I caught the peak bloom by pure luck, and the canopy overhead was so thick with pink it felt like walking inside a cotton candy cloud. There’s also a small zoo and a traditional Japanese garden inside the park — both nice to wander through as a little change of pace. I loved how lively it was: kids running around, couples posing with tripods, teens eating crepes from food stalls. I joined a picnic circle just by saying “konnichiwa” and ended up sharing snacks and stories. If you’re hopping around Saitama, Omiya Park is a vibrant, energetic #cherryblossom25 spot where you’ll feel instantly welcomed.
