Nanshan Temple in Sanya | The southernmost and stunning park in China, captivating even for those who are not Buddhists

🌊 Sanya Nanshan Temple is the southernmost Buddhist temple in China, and it is the most famous Buddhist cultural park in the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, known as the 'Buddhist Jungle by the Sea'. Nanshan has always been regarded by Buddhists as a land of auspicious blessings and has a special connection with Buddhist culture. However, even if you're not religious, this place is definitely worth a visit for its more spectacular than the Statue of Liberty's three-faced Guanyin, the beautiful sea-viewing platform, and the vast greenery and bodhi trees. 🏄🏻‍♂️ For internal transportation, the main mode of transport within the scenic area is a small train, with tickets priced at 20 yuan per seat. With a ticket, you can hop on and off at any station and take a round trip. You can board at the Non-Duality Gate and Nanshan Temple stations, where the conductor will tear off a small section of your ticket. If both sections of the ticket are torn off, you can only take a half trip. 🎖 The most famous is the sea-based white jade Guanyin statue, standing at 108 meters tall, which is sure to be awe-inspiring. It features three different poses of Guanyin, and because it's so large, visitors can only touch the toes of Guanyin. It's definitely more spectacular than the Statue of Liberty! 🏯 The sea-viewing platform is very beautiful, especially quiet during the off-season, with clear blue seas and skies; there are also gorgeous coconut groves and grasslands, bodhi trees, pigeons that are not afraid of people; as well as various Tang Dynasty buildings and exotic religious structures. 🗽 Although most people come here for religious beliefs, the architecture, sculptures, scenery, and the sea are definitely worth a visit for everyone. When in Sanya, you might skip the End of the Earth, but Nanshan is a must-visit!
