【Yamaguchi Trip】 Vegetable-Focused Small Bowl Lunch

During my trip to Yamaguchi, my relatives took me to a wonderful restaurant 🥰 This hidden gem is run out of a regular house, making it quite hard to find. The menu features a vegetable-focused small bowl lunch 🍚 that you can customize. The owner is incredibly kind and charming 🥰 ────────────── 🥢 Sanji's Lunch… 990 yen ☑︎ Includes 3 side dishes, rice, and miso soup ────────────── You can choose 3 dishes from about 10 options available that day 😋 (Additional dishes can be added for 300 yen each.) On this day, the 10 options were: ・Spinach with tofu dressing ・Eggplant stir-fried with miso ・Braised chicken drumsticks and daikon radish ・Lotus root kinpira ・Shirataki noodles stir-fried with spicy cod roe (Kabata) ・Fried eggplant with yuzu pepper flavor ・Fried lotus root mochi with grated radish sauce ・Rolled omelet with daikon radish salad ・A slightly mature potato salad ・Vegetable tempura (lotus root, pumpkin, zucchini) I absolutely love this kind of food ♡ We shared all the dishes, and except for the chicken drumsticks, almost everything was vegetable-based 🥬🍅🧅 Each dish was homely yet carefully prepared, perfectly complementing the rice 🍚 It was incredibly delicious ❤️ All the ingredients' origins were listed, so I felt safe eating everything 😋 The restaurant had a calm atmosphere with a Japanese-style room.
