Schiphol Airport is a dream to travel through

As a first time visitor to the Netherlands, I touched down at Amsterdam Airport and was blown away by how organised it is. After a nightmare transit in Dublin I was so relieved to see that it was all clearly signposted, baggage reclaim and immigration. The immigration officers were really nice and friendly (yes, they can be)! and both journeys in and out of the Netherlands were straightforward. The shops were varied and the frontage of the airport was clear with buses and taxis well signposted. The train connections being inside made it easy to make the connections for onward journeys. I’m definitely going to be returning to the Netherlands as soon as I can and hopefully get to explore more than my brief stay this time allowed. #amsterdamairport
