Hotel recommendations

Come to Seattle for Christmas. I thought I could use my FHR credit, so I chose Thompson Seattle, by Hyatt. The price is quite cheap. If you book through AMEX, you can get 15% off for more than two nights. Now in the off-season, the average price is $175 per night. The best part is that there is no pet fee. I did some homework in advance, and everyone said that this company basically doesn’t want to upgrade. For water polo guests, FHR buffs cannot be added, and suite coupons cannot be used because the hotel has locked all suites into Premium Suites. On the day of check-in, I discovered that I had been upgraded to Water View Deluxe. I communicated via text message and received a reply that this was the best room type that could be upgraded for free. Unexpectedly, when I arrived at the hotel in the evening, I chatted with the guy at the front desk and said that there was another Executive Studio Suite available for me, but it was on a lower floor. Agree immediately! The floor doesn't matter, as long as the room is big, since I have a dog with me after all. This suite seems to be two rooms connected, with two room numbers 11/12, two doors, and two full bathrooms. Water polo guests receive two free breakfasts per day in the restaurant on the first floor. 1 Entrée of your choice, a soft drink/coffee. In actual testing, it is also possible to order a side, but alcoholic drinks are not included. The variety is pretty average, not many choices, such as Salmon bagel, Avocado toast, and Benedict. There is The Nest Rooftop Bar on the top floor, available for $100 from AMEX FHR. The scenery is very nice! I stayed for 4 nights and overall I felt very good. The best thing is that I got an upgrade. Although the hotel is in the city center, the surrounding area is okay and there are not many strange homeless people. It is very convenient to nearby attractions and restaurants. Parking is a little more expensive. If you want to save money, you can book a parking lot next to SpotHero for $25 a day, and you can come and go as you like.
