It was a fantastic visual feast!😍 📍Location: 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109. It's in downtown Seattle, near the Space Needle. You can plan to visit both attractions together. 🚗Transportation: 🚇Public Transportation: From Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, take the Link Light Rail to Seattle Center Station, and then walk for about 40 mins. The fare is around $3. 🚗Driving: Parking near the Space Needle is quite expensive, so check the prices of nearby parking lots in advance. 🚕Taxi: It takes about 30 mins and costs $40–$50. 🕙Opening Hours: Opening hours vary with the season. Generally, it's open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, Friday to Sunday. Remember to check the official website or travel platforms in advance, as some areas may be closed for private events. 🎫Ticket Information: Adults $19, seniors $17, youth $12, children under 4 free (but must be accompanied by an adult). Purchasing a combined ticket with the Space Needle is more cost-effective. 🎨Exhibition Highlights: Indoor Exhibition Area Macchia (Flowering Meadow): Created in 1981, this piece incorporates over 300 colors. The glass pieces have different colors inside and out, resembling blooming flowers. It's incredibly dreamy, and you can experience the magic of color blending and transformation here. Glass Forest: Located at the end of the indoor exhibition area, the glass is inflated into neon lights, colorful and mysterious, as if you are in a fairy-tale forest, letting your imagination run wild. Northwest Room: Inspired by Navajo Indian art, this room features many jade-like glass vessels. You can also see Chihuly's collection of Native American rugs, baskets, and other items from the Northwest Coast. Parents can take this opportunity to introduce different cultures to their children. Sealife Room: As soon as you enter, you'll see the 15-foot-tall Sealife Tower, surrounded by glass starfish, octopuses, conches, and other sea creatures. It feels like you've entered an underwater world, making it a great place to learn about marine life. Persian Ceiling: Under the sunlight, the colors of the glass are reflected on the walls, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The changing light and shadow are mesmerizing. Mille Fiori (Glass Garden): Inspired by Chihuly's mother's garden, the brightly colored glass flowers and plants complement each other, as if you can smell the fragrance of flowers. You can also learn about plants here. Ikebana and Float Boat: Inspired by Japanese culture, two colorful boats float on the water, accompanied by exquisite glass flower arrangements, full of oriental charm.
