Yeondallae Restaurant in Seogwipo

Seogwipo's Yeondallae Restaurant is a buffet-style eatery that offers a variety of dishes and side dishes for just 10,000 KRW per person. One unique feature is the stone pot rice, which is available upon reservation. The menu changes frequently, so when I visited, there was no pork cutlet, which was a bit disappointing. However, I enjoyed seasonal dishes, fried rice, soup, fish cakes, stir-fried pork, takoyaki, and many other side dishes. This restaurant is highly recommended for those looking for a budget-friendly buffet in Jeju. Operating hours are from 11 AM to 2 PM every day except Sundays. The restaurant has a parking lot in front, and you can also park along the roadside. Next to the entrance, there are machines for making instant noodles, fried eggs, and toast. A standout feature is the ability to make your own fried eggs on the spot, which is both healthy and delicious. The buffet costs 10,000 KRW for adults and 6,000 KRW for children, with unlimited servings. Alcoholic beverages like soju, beer, and makgeolli, as well as soft drinks, are available for an additional charge. At Yeondallae Restaurant, you simply line up, pick your desired side dishes, and serve yourself. In addition to plain white rice, there is fried rice, and side dishes like kimchi, green onion salad, cucumber salad, and bean sprout salad are neatly arranged in large bowls. The variety of side dishes caters to different tastes, including fish cakes, mushrooms, quail eggs, acorn jelly, and more, allowing you to enjoy a nutritious meal in one place. The dishes are not overly seasoned, which is a plus. Unlike some other buffets in Jeju where the food can be too salty, Yeondallae Restaurant offers well-balanced flavors and a wide selection of vegetable-based dishes, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.
