Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is definitely worth a visit

I'm recording my trip to Chimelong late at night. This is my first time to Chimelong, and I went with another pair of adults and children. We stayed for two days and one night at the Chimelong Resort Hotel, in a penguin family room with two single beds and a bunk bed. The advantages are that it's very cute and child-friendly, you can enter and exit the park unlimited times, and I really liked the Chinese restaurant, which is much better than eating fast food in the park. The downside is that some details are not very clean, such as the carpet is a bit dirty, the bathtub is a bit old, and the air conditioning is not very powerful. But overall it's quite good, especially since our child had a bunk bed to himself and didn't have to share a bed with me. ✌🏻 We went on the third day of the Dragon Boat Festival, and I was worried that there would be a lot of people, but it turned out to be a rainy day and there weren't many people, so we didn't have to queue anywhere. 😄 The second day was a workday, and I thought there would be even fewer people, but it turned out to be a school field trip. 😭 The park is actually not very big, and you won't get tired walking around a few times. On the first day, we visited the Coral Jellyfish Pavilion, Shark Pavilion, Underwater World Pavilion, and Arctic Pavilion, and watched the Dolphin Theater and Sea Lion Theater. Because there weren't many people, we didn't buy VIP tickets but still got good seats. The pre-show warm-up activities were very exciting, and they even gave out balloons. The performances were also very exciting, and the children watched very seriously. We also took a cable car ride, which was very spacious and we could even bring our stroller without having to fold it up. The evening parade was not very big and was quite short, but there was a lot of interaction with the children. But my child was both curious and a little scared when he saw the parade for the first time. We went to the Ultraman Electronic Music Festival for a little while, but it was too noisy so we went back to the room to sleep. 😴 On the second day, we visited the Penguin Pavilion and watched the killer whale performance. There were a lot of people and all the seats were filled. Fortunately, there were four empty seats in the middle of two classes of elementary school students, which was right in the middle. The killer whale performance was quite shocking. But indeed, I also thought that the pool was too small for them, and the sea would be better. 🥺 Because it rained on the first day, many of the rides were not open, so we finished them on the second day. The height requirement is basically 90cm, which we just met. The Flying Giant Fish and Speedy Penguin were a bit scary for the children, but the Ocean Carousel was good, and we rode it three times. The most fun was feeding the carp with a bottle, pouring the fish feed into the bottle, and the fish would swim over and suck it up, which was quite amazing. 😯 So, happily, we played for two days, took home some souvenirs, which were a balloon and a flashing sword, and went home satisfied. 💗
