The second St. Regis hotel in Shanghai, the view is amazing!

The second St. Regis hotel in Shanghai opened at the end of last year. The hotel lobby is perfectly matched with the huge painting "Splendid Orient" (by master Shi Qi), reflecting the prosperity of Shanghai, very grand. The front desk is on the right, with a seated check-in, and the wall is decorated with the work "Night Shanghai" by the famous Shanghai oil painter Huang Laiduo, full of atmosphere. The overall artistic style of the hotel is very compatible with the art deco and St. Regis style, but it lacks the brand's iconic spiral staircase and crystal chandelier. This time I stayed in a river view king room, and the beautiful view in front of me can be divided into two parts. On the left is the famous City God Temple scenic area in Shanghai, with a group of old Shikumen residences hidden in the greenery, and on the right is the direction of Zhongshan East Road along the river, with the mesmerizing Bund architecture on the left of the busy road. The hardware details are very good, including toiletries, hair dryer, various hardware equipment, and the butler service is also very good, with free ironing of clothes. The breakfast is on the first floor, with a wide variety of choices, and every staff member is polite, with many foreign guests. I didn't go to the gym and pool this time, but I will try it next time. There are many delicious foods in the underground mall next to the hotel, so it is very convenient to stay in the hotel for eating, drinking, and playing.
