The temple has a history of over 1,700 years and is an important place in terms of religion, history, and culture. 🙏 How to worship at Longhua Temple Worshiping at Chinese temples is similar to that at general Mahayana Buddhist temples, and there are steps that should be followed respectfully and correctly: 1. Prepare incense and candles: You can buy them from shops in the temple. 2. Light incense and candles: Light incense (usually 3 sticks) and hold them in both hands. 3. Pray in the four directions (if any): Face the main direction and pray 3 times, or choose to pray in front of a Buddha statue or deity you respect. 4.
