Shennongjia's "Roof of Central China" -- Shennong Peak

Shennong Peak Scenic Area in Shennongjia is a national-level natural core conservation area, where the highest peak in Central China, Shennong Peak, reaches an altitude of 3105.4 meters and is known as the "Roof of Central China". The scenic area features sprawling alpine meadows that stretch for thousands of miles, diverse and abrupt alpine stone forests, and year-round misty veils over Shennong Peak with exposed rocks, while the mountainside is dotted with arrow bamboo forests, fir forests, and high mountain rhododendron forests. There is the Shennong Valley attraction, where the mouth of the valley overlooks deep ravines, and the stone forest is dense with columns and spires, a marvel of nature's craftsmanship that leaves visitors in awe. Shennong Camp, another attraction, is said to be named after the place where Shennong, the legendary figure, camped while gathering herbs. The meadows and rhododendron forests together create a painting of vast green fields and azure seas. At the Banbiyan Rock attraction, various strange rocks rise abruptly, each with its own unique shape and spirit. In addition, there are many other attractions such as the watchtower and Sky Ridge, making it an ideal destination for eco-tourism.
