Encounter with the "Wild Man" in Shennongjia

Shennongjia is unique, located in the western part of Hubei Province, but does not belong to any city. It is the only administrative region in China named after a "forest area". There are not just one, but six scenic spots in Shennongjia, namely Shennongding, Dajiuhu, Tianyan, Tiansheng Bridge, Shennong Altar, Guanmen Mountain, etc. Shennongding is the core scenic spot of Shennongjia, the highest peak in Central China, with an altitude of 3105.4 meters. It is a primary forest protection area. Shennongding has five regular scenic spots: Shennong Valley, Banbi Rock, Golden Monkey Ridge, Prince Cliff, and Xiaolongtan. Among the rare animals in Shennongjia, the most proud one is the golden monkey. The golden monkeys in Shennongjia belong to the subspecies of Sichuan golden monkeys and are the most beautiful monkeys. There is a golden monkey rescue and breeding base in Xiaolongtan, where you can see golden monkeys that have lost their ability to survive in the wild due to human assistance. Golden Monkey Ridge is one of the main activity areas of the golden monkey. Although it is now very difficult to see golden monkeys, the environment is really good. The forest is deep all the way, with waterfalls splashing and streams gurgling. And walking down from the top is not tiring at all. It seems that the golden monkeys are very smart and know how to choose a place. Banbi Rock is mainly for viewing the stone forest. This is a karst landform, with arrow bamboo forests all over the mountains. It is a place where the "wild man" of Shennongjia often appears.
