Shennongjia!

During my trip to Wuhan, I wanted to see some of the surrounding scenery, so I chose the primeval forest of Shennongjia: On the first day, I arrived just in time for the scenic area's upgrade and improvement. • The Shennong Altar has finally regained its former solemnity. • In Guanmen Mountain, I saw pandas, beehives, and the Hominid Science Museum. • At Tiansheng Bridge, there are two waterfalls at the entrance to the scenic area. On the second day, I encountered a cold snap and heavy snow. • The flowers in front of the B&B were covered with a thick layer of snow. • The Shennongding Scenic Area was covered in silver. One day it was lush green, and the next day it was covered with a thick layer of snow. However, due to the sudden heavy snow, Jinhouling and Banbi Rock were inaccessible. The original one-day trip was cut short by half a day, and in the afternoon, I could only wander around near the B&B. Scenery along the way • The round-trip bus from Muyu Town to Xingshan Station has scenery that far surpasses the six major scenic spots. The journey there was on a sunny day, surrounded by green hills and clear waters. The return trip was after the snow, with clouds and mist all the way. Final tips: The tourist shuttle buses to Guanmen Mountain, Tiansheng Bridge, and Shennong Altar Scenic Areas are not available during the off-season. They are only available from April 1 during the peak season, which is a bit outrageous for a 5A scenic area. Independent travelers who come from afar to visit the six major scenic spots can only choose to charter a car, but car rentals in Shennongjia are generally a bit expensive, and drivers are prone to canceling orders or adding extra fees on the spot (I encountered both situations this time). Fortunately, I came across the "CNY 1 purchase" during the off-season, otherwise, it would have been a real loss to come all the way here with a CNY 299 ticket.
