Shenzhen's newly opened Star Livehouse has an amazing atmosphere.

Traveling abroad during Christmas is quite expensive, so if you want to leave Hong Kong for a bit, the best option is to explore new attractions in Shenzhen. Besides claw machines and supermarkets, this time we visited the Livehouse on Huaqiang Road, which will officially open on December 25, 2024. Livehouse combines a bar, restaurant, and music performance venue all in one. Livehouse hosts music live shows every night starting at 8:00 PM. From 8:00-9:00 PM, there are acoustic performances. After 9:30 PM, there are live band performances. Performers include veteran bands from Hong Kong and professional singers from both Hong Kong and mainland China. Genres include rock, jazz, and pop music. Livehouse has a bar that serves beer🍻, whiskey🥃, cocktails, and Korean soju. In addition to alcoholic beverages, there are also non-alcoholic drinks, including Hope Water, Genki Forest drinks, and lemongrass lemon tea. There are various food options, ranging from snacks to main courses. We ordered crispy nachos, roasted chicken with crispy skin and tender meat, juicy grilled mixed vegetables, flavorful BBQ pork ribs, and a large bowl of crispy and delicious fried chicken rice. During the grand opening period, some food items are on promotion. Five dishes plus two non-alcoholic drinks for less than ¥300! Great value! It was our first time at Livehouse, and it was a very good experience.
