Chen Yanqiao Museum/China Printmaking Museum

After enjoying two non-spicy Hunan dishes 😋, we set off again and passed by the Chen Yanqiao Museum, which commemorates an artist. The exhibition inside displays many of his memorabilia, showcasing his significant artistic creations and academic achievements throughout his life. Not far from the printmaking base, there is a quiet courtyard 🏡. On either side of the courtyard gate stand two tall coconut trees 🌴🌴. Upon entering, a winding path leads to a row of houses. There are three houses 🏘️ with white walls and gray tiles, typical Hakka architecture, built with local traditional rammed earth. The entire courtyard is covered with green grass, except for the path, and there is an ancient well in the yard. This Hakka ancient walled house, full of rural charm, is the former residence of the famous printmaking artist and educator Mr. Chen Yanqiao. He was born here and spent his entire childhood here. After that, we spent almost an hour walking through the China Printmaking Museum. I'm not really interested in art 🙄, but it was on the way to the flower field for photos.
