It was a gathering with the extended family, and this place turned out to be a great choice for a large group meal. One of the most unique things about the restaurant is the indoor swimming pool right in the middle of the space. It’s fenced off for safety, so diners can enjoy the view without any concerns. While we didn’t go for a swim—it was nighttime, and not quite the occasion—the pool added a nice touch to the atmosphere and kept the place cool and breezy. The restaurant offers both hotpot and local Malaysian-style zichar dishes, so there’s plenty of variety. You can order a hotpot set or pick individual ingredients depending on your preference. The hotpot here follows the traditional style, starting with a light and naturally sweet chicken broth. As the meal goes on and more ingredients are added, the soup gradually becomes richer and more flavorful, turning into a hearty broth by the end of the meal. Despite being in a more secluded area away from town, the restaurant was lively and packed with diners, many of whom seemed like regulars.
