Speakeasy ramen bar in Bencoolen

#singapore While Umesan 100 only shakes up cocktails in the PM, its daytime alter-ego is a dry ramen bar dishing out Japanese-inspired nosh such as the signature Nagoya dry prawn ramen, the spicy angry asari soup ramen and some bar bites. We had the weekday lunch special, with ramen starting from $7.90 per bowl. It’s a really good deal. I wish that they kept the door closed so that it would have been fun to “open the vending machine” and step into the speakeasy restaurant. But I also understand that not many people would know about it, if the door were closed. Lucnhtime crowd was not too bad, the restaurant was around 80% full. Do try the signature Nagoya dry ramen or the Karaka ramen (recommended).
