Skagway

Visiting Skagway is like going back in time to the gold-rush era. Not far from the cruise ship terminal is Broad Street, where there are restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and plenty of gem shops. The small town is part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park and offers excursions on the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad and gold-panning experiences. We didn’t have time to do a full excursion but strolled around this quaint gold-rush town, picked up some souvenirs, and grabbed some food from local food trucks. #usatravel #alaska #gold #mining
