Stirling Castle. Scotland’s forgotten city

Stirling and its medieval castle are less than an hours drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh but are often bypassed for other attractions that Scotland has to offer. The imposing castle sits on a rock looking down on the city and holds an extensive history stretching right back to before the unification of English and Scottish monarchs, many of whom were crowned there. Still in use today it has been used as a concert venue, film site and even a wedding venue. #castle #scotland
