For this Boshan furnace, I made a special trip to Suzhou Museum.

✅Recently, Suzhou Museum (West Hall) is exhibiting "Life Beliefs - Various Forms of Han Dynasty Art" 💥There is a national treasure-level exhibit - the inlaid gold-patterned Boshan furnace ➡️The inlaid gold-patterned Boshan furnace, this treasure from the Hebei Museum❤️, is as famous as the Changxin Palace Lantern and the Jinluo Jade Clothes, and is the pinnacle of Han Dynasty art. It is not only an incense burner, but also an exquisite work of art, symbolizing the Han people's yearning and worship for the "Fairy Mountain on the Sea". ➡️The design of Boshan furnace is full of mystery. The stove base symbolizes the sea, the stove handle is carved into the shape of three dragons emerging from water, the upper part of the stove plate and the stove cover are cast with undulating mountains, and the stove cover is perforated according to the mountain shape, imitating the "fairy mountain on the sea", where mythical beasts roam, tigers and leopards run, monkeys and pigs play, and hunters patrol the mountains with bows and arrows.
