South Gate to Heaven, Taishan Mountain

Exploring Taishan Mountain, Shandong - n.4: Nantianmen Gate (South Gate to Heaven) 南天门 1460m asl also named Heavenly Gate Pass, is located at the end of Eighteen Twistings, at 1460 meters above sea level, built by Zhang Zhichun, an abbot in 1264, decorated by red walls and yellow glazed tiles on the roof and stone arched doorway. The cableway station is 10min away. After so many stairs is a great achievement to arrive here, the most difficult part is done! You are finally at the mountain top.
