崂山顽石The relationship between Windermere and Bowness is like the twin cities that are dependent on each other, and it is also the most visited place in the entire Lake District. Windermere is in the north, Windermere Railway Station is here, there are many B&B accommodations and holiday hotels. There are no direct roads and boat docks (parks and private estates?) by the lake on the west side of Windermere. To appreciate the lake and landscape here and take a boat trip to the lake, you must go to Bowness on the south side of it. Bowness is by the lake, about a 30-minute walk from Windermere to Bowness. The main dock for cruise ships is here. The famous Peter Rabbit World is also in Bowness.

茱丽叶have a lovely cruise from Windermere to Coniston and back. careful with the cold weather even in summer time especially if taking the cruise during sunset. I also recommend souvenir shopping and an ice cream while in Windermere
