As a tropical place, the mango and watermelon produced there are very sweet and tasty. I purchased half a dozen mangoes back at the hotel to enjoy. In addition, I love their local snacks. Their charcoal baked peanuts, ikan ibis almond snacks, crab roe flavoured sunflower seeds, and their yummy beef cup noodles. They are all my favourites. There will not be plastic bags given. After payment, I have to walk to the packaging area. Pick the correct box size, place all the things inside. Use the tape provided to seal the box. Use the metal stripe to wrap around the box and carry it. It is very eco-friendly. I hope our country will learn from them. #bucketlistreboot

#bucketlistreboot Day and Night at Taipei 101. Being a famous tower so it’s a must go place if one is in Taipei. Easy to go as many buses and train reached directly at the place. Cannot miss the popular ding Tai Fung, tasted almost the same but at least can share that I have been to Taipei 101’s outlet. I managed to catch 31st countdown fireworks which is an awesome experience with concert staged by famous Taiwan artists. Remember to try to countdown new year there for experience

#bucketlistreboot National Taiwan Science Education Center No.189 Shishang Road, Shilin District, Shilin, Taipei 111 Taiwan I am so impressed by this education centre. Even adults can have hands on the try on the game or can you do it item. I lost count of the level but one day is definitely not sufficient. Ranging from music instruments to lighting to animal , human parts . it’s also exhibit how science logic works. My totally forgotten physic theory . Velocity, speed and also I am so interested in the telekinetic theme where you can exercise your body to test out. Balancing section is purely fun

Shilin Night Market

#bucketlistreboot Shilin Night Market Often considered to be the largest and most famous night market in Taiwan. Shilin Night Market is accessible via the Tamsui–Xinyi line (Taipei Metro) at Jiantan Station. Starts to get crowded by 6pm with lots of tourists and locals. This round I want feature the soup shop. As I went during winter time, the weather is still chilling at night. You can’t stop but to try the interesting foodies along the street. Shilin is also popular to have many items to buy. I did my normal shopping of phone accessories. Cute and cute and cute! Of course, not that expensive. Super reasonable price . Shilin opens till around 12am , good for night owls like me.

Daan Park

#bucketlistreboot Da'an Forest Park is the pride of Taipei City. Next to it is the mrt line Daan Park Station. This is a must go place if you are one of the fans for Taiwanese band Mayday. There is a mini amphitheater which they had their concert 25 years ago (1997)

Miramar Entertainment Park

#bucketlistreboot On the roof of Miramar Entertainment Park is a 70 meters (230 ft) tall ferris wheel. Now, why out of the blue I went there. Located at Wenhu line of the Taipei Metro has a station (Jiannan Road station) next to the mall , is a bit out of the normal tourist route. Well, it’s because I wanna try a Ferris wheel which is on top of the building. Most of Ferris wheel is on the ground. Most important I understand that there are not so many people that visited the location means tourist free. As I don’t have much time so I did not try the cinema in the same building It’s is not for free, but was included if you buy the pass. Try in trip.com site.

Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence

#bucketlistreboot Shilin Official Residence is historical site open to the public. Formerly is the home Chiang Kai Shek. As strictly no picture around, it’s very tricky to sneak a snap of the residence. The range of bedroom, study room and also guests room are fully displayed. No, you cannot walk to sit at the chairs or sofa, just look. Saw a range of old clothings from Mrs Chiang. It is surrounded by greenery and garden. Picture shared included one of his transport during the days in office. Entry to the garden is for free but to enter the residence , 100NTD. Again, try to get Taiwan Pass that cover the entrance . To get here it is pretty easy, just use the transit to Shilin station.
