[From Mt. Asakuma to Mt. Uji Trail] Mie

🏖️Overview: Asakuma Mountain is a 553m high mountain ⛰️ that spans from Ise City to Toba City in Mie Prefecture. Near the summit is the Kongosho-ji Temple Manji of the Rinzai sect, and in the Edo period it was a popular pilgrimage site for those visiting Ise Shrine ⛩️. It is located in the Ise-Shima National Park and has been selected as one of the 100 most scenic spots in Japan 🇯🇵. It is also the highest peak on the Shima Peninsula, and the area near the summit is a famous spot for the first sunrise 🌅, and is known as a sacred mountain representing this region. 💞Reasons why we recommend it: I saw on TV 📺 the saying, "If you're going to Ise, you should go to Asakuma, and if you don't go to Asakuma, it's a half-visit," and I thought, "I have to climb this at least once❗️," so I went. As soon as I reached the top of Mt. Asakuma, my right leg started to hurt 🤕 I decided that descending from the summit to Kintetsu Asakuma Station would put too much strain on my legs. Speaking of which, I remembered the sign🪧 that said that Ujidake Trail used to operate a mountain bus, and although it was a long distance, the road was flat, so I made the right decision⭕️. At the end of the hill, I found Okage Yokocho‼ ️I was really lucky.
