The exhibition Weaving Codes Like Poetry is a weaving web of literature chronicles of artistic and technical exploration, spontaneous research and socially participatory practices, and invites visitors to experience the poetry of coding and spinning. In addition to Choi Tae-run’s first exhibition in Hong Kong exploring themes such as coding, textiles and care, there will also be two new sets of installation art works on display. One of the works is the "colored stool" in the ground floor lobby of the yarn mill. The "colored stool" is actually Andres. Angli Dax's "DeMOS CHAT Factory Six" series of soft sculptures gives you a break while walking through the mill - you can also move the sculpture at will to build your favorite shape and color combination. The soft sculpture was inspired by the concept of the Greek Assembly (Assembly) as well as the computer game “Tetris”, while the pattern and texture on the soft sculpture referenced a piece of clothing from the CHAT Factory Six collection. Another “anti-learning” space inspired by coding, drawing, knitting, computer computing and weaving has workshops for you to create yourself.
