You can stroll around freely at night, such as the Dazhao Temple, the Grand Mosque, the Wuta Temple, the Hailiang Square on Zhongshan Road, etc. You can also taste delicious food such as steamed dumplings, mutton offal, shabu-shabu, ice-boiled lamb, barbecue, etc. The next morning at around 7:30, you can take a bus to Huitengxile Grassland, which is about 120 kilometers away and takes nearly 1.5 hours. It is located at the junction of Zhuozi County and Chahar Right Middle Banner east of Hohhot. It is an alpine grassland with an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters, strong winds and sunshine all year round, a wide grassland coverage area, and Asia's famous wind power generation dotted on the grassland. Huanghuagou is one of the attractions on Huitengxile Grassland. There are regular horse farms here that can provide thousands of people with horses to gallop on the grassland at the same time, and there are also helicopters to overlook the grassland from the air and other entertainment projects. Thousands of yurts are the most dazzling business cards on the grassland. Huitengxile is an ideal place to play and escape the summer heat, which is close to the capital and well protected. The return trip to Hohhot in the afternoon takes a little over an hour at about 17:00, and arrives in Hohhot at around 18:30. In the evening, there is a high-speed train back to Beijing that can go directly to Qinghe Station to end a day's grassland trip. If you choose to depart from Ulanqab, you should buy the high-speed rail ticket at Ulanqab Station, which is closer to Beijing, Huitengxile and Ulan Hada Volcano. If you do not have other itineraries, Ulanqab Station is an ideal departure point. Please note that you can arrive at the high-speed rail station on the morning of the departure day for Hohhot and Ulanqab. The driver will pick you up at the high-speed rail station and take you directly to the grassland. The reason for arriving one day in advance is to avoid being rushed.
